OX4 Rollin' Man (Peter Greene) Limited Edition #7/28 PAF style Humbucker set, Aged Nickel Covers

The OX4 Rollin' Man or Peter Greene Limited edition humbucker set pays tribute to the soulful and evocative sound of blues legend Peter Greene. Peter Greene became famous when he replaced Eric Clapton in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers when Clapton split to form Cream with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce, and later Peter Greene went on to cement his status as one of the most expressive and soulful blues guitar players of all time with the work he did in the original Fleetwood Mac line up. Peter Greene' tone was pure emotion - sweet, soft and stingy when he used one pickup, while Peter Greene's haunting, nasally out of phase tone, was produced when he used both pickups.

With this special Rolling' Man wind OX4 has made an authentic reproduction of Peter Greenes tone, and of course, the neck pickup is wound out of phase.

B.B. King said that Peter Greene had the sweetest tone he'd ever heard, and further stated "He was the only one that gave me cold sweats". - That about sums up why Peter Greene has been such an important player.
