KingTone has long ago earned it's rightful reputation as one of the very best makers of true high-end guitar pedals. They are constantly developing new pedals, which always becomes instant classics. This is in part due to the to the uncompromising tour-grade quality of build and design, but naturally also due to the ultra dynamic response, the high headroom and unmistakable classic tones inherent in all KingTone pedals. 

KingTone was founded by Jessy Davey, guitarist of the award winning and now legendary british blues band The Hoax, when they broke up in 1999. Jessy Davey became fascinated by electronics at the tender age of 8 years old, and have been building, tweaking and modifying guitar effects and amplifiers since. The unique duality of being a highly talented touring guitarist and having a deep and profound knowledge of electronics design clearly shows in both the tonal and the build quality of all KingTone pedals.

KingTone is a family business, run and operated by Jesse and his wife Krystal. Every Kingtone pedal is hand build to withstand a lifetime of touring and from the best components available to produce world class tones. When you try any KingTone pedal it is very easy to understand why some of the most respected guitar players in the world swear by KingTone pedals.
