Cornerstone Antique Overdrive 2
The Cornerstone Antique 2 is as the name implies the revised and improved 2nd of the already incredible original Cornerstone Antique.
It was designed to capture the sound of John Mayer, specifically John Mayer's sound on the formidable "Trio" album.
Not just another Tube Screamer clone
As with the original Antique, the Antique 2 shares some of is DNA with the classic Tube Screamer circuit, and it will absolutely do all the classic Tube Screamer sounds with ease. But make no mistake, the Antique 2 is not a straight Tube Screamer clone, it's circuit is tweaked to be infinitely more versatile, to give you more control over the tone and to be extremely dynamic - in short to be an extremely musical and touch sensitive boost and overdrive pedal.
Sounds
The Cornerstone Antique 2 will give you the sound of John Mayer on the "Trio" record, all the classic Tube Screamer sounds or let you dial it in for "your" sound - It is just such an extremely musical and touch sensitive inspirational classic sounding overdrive pedal, whether you want to sound like your guitar hero or like yourself.
Controls
The Cornerstone Antique 2 has 4 knobs (Gain, Volume, Tone & Presence) and 2 mini toggles (Mids & Comp).
Gain and Volume are self-explanatory, while the Tone knob controls the low-mids frequency content and the Presence knob controls the high-mids and high-end content.
The Mids toggle switch controls the overall mids-content in the tone, in the UP position the mids are like on a Tube Screamer, while in the DOWN position the mids are cut.
The Comp toggle switch controls the overall dynamic character and responce of the Antique 2.
Using these controls you have access to a plethora of different but equally great tones, all in the range of the John Mayer "Trio" tones.

The Antique requires a standard 9V DC Negative power supply only.
