About 80/20 Bronze Acoustic 13-56 COATED :
Bronze wound acoustic guitar strings are often referred to as old-school, vintage and/or bright bronze acoustic guitar strings. Bronze wound strings were used exclusively for acoustic guitar until the introduction of phosphor in the early Seventies. The Bronze 80/20 alloy wire consists 80% copper and 20% zinc.
Bronze 80/20 string sets have balanced highs and lows, a slight increase in the mid-range, and as a result notes cut through the mix a bit more.
This string set is coated, with a proprietary coating that does not compromise the original sound or feel of the strings, but preserves string life by resisting tarnish and corrosion.
